 Erasmus in UmeÅ

 Project in Molecular Biology

You can do an international research stay in my group trough the Erasmus and the Erasmus+ programs from the European Union. The recommended time for this kind of stays at my lab is six months. This would give you 30 credit points.

The easiest way to do this is by applying trough your home University if you are a European citizen. You can then register to a course such as "Project in molecular biology" at Umeå University, which is available at both bachelor and master levels. Other courses are also available.

During the spring semester 2020 we have space in our lab for one or two motivated students that want to do their bachelor or master thesis with us. It is possible to do it using one of the aforementioned courses.

In the case of the Erasmus+ program you have to register at your home educational institution and fill with you Erasmus representative a II.6-Annex-HE-Learning-agreement form.  In this case it is not necessary to register in a course. A letter of intent has to be approved by Umeå University first though.

Applications for the spring semester 2020 (VT20) are open

For any of the above cases please show us first your interest by sending a short  motivation letter (max. 1 page), CV and a copy of your transcript of records in a single pdf file to the address found at the bottom of this page.
